Aloha Business Centers offers one of the most popular methods to connect your laptop to the Internet. WiFi, the term for 802.11b wireless networking, provides a high-speed wireless connection to our broadband Internet service. It's the fastest and easiest way for you to get online with your laptop at most of our locations. It's also the most economical, since we offer unlimited daily, weekly, and monthly access. No per minute charges, just easy online access anytime you want. At morning, noon, night, or even at 4 AM.

WHAT YOU NEED... In addition to a laptop / notebook computer, you need a WiFi card if you don't already have one built in (most newer notebooks do). You can use your own WiFi card, or rent one of ours for a nominal additional charge. As long as the card is compatible with the 802.11b Wi-Fi standard, it doesn't matter which brand you use. Our recommendation is to use a Cisco or Lucent brand card, or the Apple Airport Card if you're a Mac user. These provide excellent signal connection, although they may be a bit higher priced than other brands.

WHERE TO CONNECT... Our WiFi signal varies at each location, but at a minimum will reach some parts of the lobby. Some locations cover the pool areas, and even a few of the guest rooms and meeting rooms. We are working with each location property to increase our coverage. HOW TO CONNECT... Where available, we offer an automated, web-based payment system. All you will need to do is make sure you are connected to our Wi-Fi network which has the SSID (network name) of "Aloha Business Centers" and then browse to any typical website such as www.yahoo.com. Doing so will bring you instead to our login screen where you can create your account. We also provide Wi-Fi cards to access our network if you do not already have one available.
