- Q. I'm staying next door at a different hotel, can I still use your services?
A. Of course! Our locations and services are available to anyone. We can also easily provide services at other locations too.
- Q. I'm interested in your Wireless Internet. What are the advantages to this compared to connecting inside one of your locations?
A. Not only does our Wireless Internet offer high-speed connectivity in a more relaxing atmosphere such as at the pool, in the lobby, or in your room, it is also available to you 24-hours a day. If you need to be online with New York at 3 AM for instance, this may be the only way for you to connect to the Internet both reliably and at a high-speed. Our Wireless Internet is also the most economical if connecting for more than just a few minutes.
- Q. I need to check my email during my trip. Can I do this at your locations?
A. Absolutely! This is one of our most popular services, and as long as your email service permits remote access, then the answer is yes. In addition to retrieving email from the standard ISP-based email accounts (POP3 and IMAP), you can also check any web-based email accounts such as Yahoo!, HotMail, and AOL Web Mail. Many Internet Service Providers (ISP) also offer access to customer's email via their own web-mail page. By default, our Internet Station web browsers start at this portal, so you can see for yourself right now if you can check your email. Don't forget to bring your user-name and password!
- Q. I'm bringing my laptop / notebook computer. Can I connect to your printer or to the Internet?
A. Yes. We offer laptop Stations at each of our locations that allow you to both connect to one of our HP printers and to both a modem line or our high-speed Internet connection. To connect to our high-speed connection, you will need a NIC card (network card/adapter) to connect via Ethernet.
- Q. I have a Mac iBook / Mac PowerBook. Do you support these?
A. Yes. Printing and Internet Access from you Mac is available. Each location has an HP Color Laserjet that provides easy printing from your Mac via Wireless, Ethernet, or USB. High-speed Internet is available via Wireless or Ethernet. Our wireless service is the standard 802.11b, and will work well with your Apple Airport Card. In fact, if you don't already have an Apple Airport Card, now may be a good time to get one. See our Wireless Internet section for more information.
- Q. I need to print and copy multiple documents. Can I have you do that for me before I arrive?
A. From our Contact section, you can send a direct email and file attachment to any one of our locations. Provide any instructions so we will know what to do once we receive the file, such as the deadline, color or black/white, number of copies, stapling or binding requirements, and of course, who will pay for the services. If this is a rush job, a contact telephone number is a good idea in case we have any questions.
